HURRICANE PANTRY / Hungry Jack Hashbrowns

Just found these today (Hungry Jack Hashbrowns) at Publix's ($1.99). Looks like they might be perfect for my hurricane pantry. You just add water to these dried potatoes and  let sit in the carton for ten minutes. Fry them up for 4 minutes and you are good to go. Good for breakfast or a side for lunch/dinner. Easy & shelf stable. Let you know how they are.  Have you tried them yet?

This bottle of white wine is 200 years old. Bottled in 1811, it's a fine vintage that experts promise is one of the best ever produced in Bordeaux.
